ABSTRACT
The article offers an examination of the book "The Praise of Folly" written by Desiderius Erasmus. He wrote the book in Thomas More's home at Bucklersbury in London in the summer of 1509. The book is a discourse in praise of folly which was delivered by a goddess who personifies light-headed quality of spirit and mind. In the book, Folly attacked theologians, monks, and other miscreants.
