ABSTRACT
The chapter focuses on the year of the sheep in Chinese astrology. The Chinese name of the sheep is Yang. Its fixed element is fire. Its Western sign is Cancer. The years that fall under the year of the sheep are 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 and 2015. The Sheep is nature's special child, upon whom fortune smiles, but it is also a grazing creature very much in need of a watchful and protective shepherd. The Chinese believe that Sheep are blessed by good fortune because of their love of peace, innate kindness and purity of heart. Some famous people who were born in the year of the sheep include Robert DeNiro and John Wayne.
