ABSTRACT
This section relates the experiences of asthmatics in managing asthma attacks. In the late 1960s, the real revolution in asthma drugs started, and that just transformed John's life. He still was not well after it, but he was so much better. Rachel has had asthma since childhood. She is much happier now that she manages without the inhalers, because she does not like taking drugs of any kind, and she prefers to feel that she can control the asthma herself.
