ABSTRACT
A biography of professional Australian surfer Michael Eugene Fanning is presented. He was born on June 13, 1981 in Penrith, a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales in Australia. Fanning participated in the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Championship Tour in the year 2002 and secured fifth rank in the world. He lives with his wife Karissa Dalton, whom he married in March 2008 in New South Wales.
