Biography
ABSTRACT
A biography of Lt. Col. Rabbi Allan Marshall Blustein, a chaplain for the U.S. Army and for Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, is presented. Blustein was born on April 1, 1931. His career as a Jewish military chaplain is discussed, including his work with Algerian Jews who fled to Orleans, France. In 1979, he was named Outstanding Jewish Chaplain of the U.S. Armed Services Forces. Blustein died in September 1992.
