ABSTRACT
A biography of Chinese-American AIDS researcher David Ho is presented. He was born in 1952 in Taiwan and moved to the U.S. with his family when he was twelve years old. Ho graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 1974 before attending Harvard Medical School, where he graduated with a medical degree in 1978. In 1990, he was chosen to design and serve as the director of the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center (ADARC) being established in New York City.
