ABSTRACT
News briefs pertaining to German libraries are presented. A project by the Universitätsbibliothek Heidelberg academic library in Heidelberg, Germany to digitize war newspapers from World War I is described, information is offered on the collection of printed materials from World War I at the Fürstlichen Bibliothek Detmold library in Detmold, Germany, and the digitization of World War I materials at the Badische Landesbibliothek library is discussed.
