Background: Inhaler drugs commonly used because of low side effects for chronic lung disease. There are many different types of inhaler drugs which each is used differently. Patient compliance is also in variable levels for these forms of drugs according to our clinical observation. The aim of our study is to assess the compliance of patient who had prescription but has no education for its usage. Methods: Our study was a prospective, nonrandomized case series that included 122 patient whom treatments were began at different health center. That patient admitted to our outpatient chest disease clinic in 2013 year. Their data were collected. We also confirmed their usage from of drug properly or not. We analyzed that according to the collected data had or not effect on drug compliance of patients. Results: Sixty eight of patients were male and had mostly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The best compliance of patients was in discus form (88,2%), whereas the least one was in turbuhaler form (30%). There were statistically significant relation between appropriate usage of drugs and education level (p<0,05). Conclusions: We found that the patients with well educated had better compliance than low ones. There are the best compliance in aerolised and discus form than the other forms. We suppose that the patients must be gave good education how to use drugs in prescription time.
