ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC), which was established on October 27, 1961, the day the Delaware River Basin Compact became law. The DRBC's ex officio members are the state governors of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware, and the commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers North Atlantic Division who represents the federal government. DRBC's goals include water quality protection, water conservation, and watershed planning.
