I CONFESS to feeling a twinge of sadness at the news that 91-year-old 'Mad' Frankie Fraser has slipped into a coma. I met Fraser when I was working for BBC Radio in London and for reasons that I can barely recall now, the former gangster used to phone me up quite regularly for all manner of breezeshooting exercises. I can't say I ever approved of him but he did make me laugh. But then, to be honest, I was half afraid not to.
