ABSTRACT
The article presents 2014 news on medicine in Australia, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) and the "Australian Nursing & Midwifery Journal". In March of 2014 Yvonne Chaperon resigned from her role as assistant federal secretary of the ANMF. In April of 2014 it was revealed that the ANMF had grown to have 233,000 members. In May of 2014 Australian nurses and midwives held celebrations in honor of International Day of the Midwife and International Nurses' Day.
