ABSTRACT
The article focuses on development of immigration restrictions by the European Union and the U.S. to prevent entry of gang members and criminals. Topics discussed include the legal framework of the U.S. for exclusion of criminal immigrants, biometric systems and other tools used by the EU and the U.S. to exclude suspected criminal immigrants, and comparison of legal frameworks of both the countries that prevent entry of criminal immigrants to their borders.
