The article discusses the use of a question and answer (Q&A) tool on the online social network Facebook, powered by the marketing platform BumeBox, by brands. The tool will allow marketers to present Q&A sessions with celebrities and personalities to significantly larger fan bases than those traditionally targeted through the online social network Twitter. The use of mobile messaging applications such as Snapchat by marketers for advertising is also discussed.
