ABSTRACT
D.A. Davidson &Co. has hired Keith Clay as senior vice president and managing director of institutional sales of its fixed-income group in Seattle, the company's move in a two-year bid to expand. Prior to his position at First Union, Clay worked in the institutional sales division of J.C. Bradford & Co. and at Chase Manhattan Bank USA NA as a global markets trader. Clay reports to Kreg Jones, managing director of fixed-income capital markets for D.A. Davidson. D.A. Davidson also has hired James Rice Jr. as vice president and manager of taxable fixed-income trading at its Seattle office.
