The article focuses on the benefits of tracking kegs for the craft brewing industry. It noted the average cost of a half-barrel kegs in the U.S. Cited are some tracking technologies used in keg management like keg scanning and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Also listed are some information determined using tracking reports including asset location, at-risk assets, distributor dwell, cycle time, maintenance schedule and deposit balances.
