ABSTRACT
William Everett Thomas of Ottawa Hills, Ohio, a 43-year old veteran banker who worked for Morgan Stanley, died May 5, 2003 while attending the American Automobile Association's annual meeting in Denver. He was 64 years old. The Circleville, Ohio, native spent the past four-and-a-half years as a senior vice president at Morgan Stanley. He began his banking career with National City Bank in Cleveland in 1960 and went on to become a municipal bond trader at Sweney Cartwright in Columbus. In 1974, he was hired by the Ohio Co., where he was active in corporate finance. He later became a vice president and manager of the firm's Toledo office. Following 34 years there, he left for Morgan Stanley.
