ABSTRACT
The article presents a study which investigates the effects of carbon black on microorganisms of geoecosystems in the biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil. Soil samples were taken and inoculation was conducted to determine the enzyme activity and the dynamics of population of microorganism. The study determined that carbon black accelerates the processes of biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons and relative change in the enzymatic activity of microorganisms in oil-polluted soil.
