ABSTRACT
Identifies specific radiographic features on computed tomographic imaging that can predict neurologic deterioration in patients with large middle cerebral artery (MCA) infarctions. Description of neurologic deterioration; Radiographic features reviewed; Comparison of demographic and radiographic variables; Conclusion that the hyperdence HMCA and early computed tomography evidence of MCA involvement are predictive of neurologic deterioration.
