ABSTRACT
Let R be a commutative noetherian graded ring. In R[Y1, ... ,Ym] we consider the linear forms ai = Σj=1m aji Yj, 1 ⩽ i ⩽ n, with aji homogeneous elements of R. We state a necessary and sufficient condition, in terms of *grades of the determinantal ideals of the matrix A = (aji), for the ideal (a1, ... ,an) to be a *complete intersection of *grade n in R[Y1, ... ,Ym].

The article discusses the study which describes the technique of isomorphisms of general linear groups over associative rings graded by a commutative group. It presents the isomorphisms of invertible elements of endomorphism rings over free graded modules of associative rings by a commutative...

We say a module MR a semicommutative module if for any m ∈ M and any a ∈ R, ma = 0 implies mRa = 0. This paper gives various properties of reduced, Armendariz, Baer, Quasi-Baer, p.p. and p.q.-Baer rings to extend to modules. In addition we also prove, for a p.p.-ring R, R is...

    In this paper, our purpose is to produce the commutativity results for ring R and show that if R is a 2-torsion free semiprime ring, then a derivation D is commuting on I. If one of the following conditions holds; (a) D(x) º D(y) = [x, y] or D(x) º D(y) = [x, y], (b) [D(x), D(y)] = (x º...

In this paper, we investigate and characterize the class of A-semirings. A characterization of the Thierrin radical of a proper ideal of an A-semiring is given. Moreover, when P is a Q-ideal in the semiring R, it is shown that P is primary if and only if R/P is nilpotent.
