Reports that consulting engineering firm Maris International of Great Britain has completed a project to identify the technology needed to drill gas wells and install seabed production systems under the Kara Sea in the Arctic Ocean off the Russian coast. Projected costs of drilling about 200 wells; Operation of the wells by Werner Offshore.
