ABSTRACT
The article presents details pertaining to the Teacher's Insurance and Annuity--College Retirement Equities Fund's (TIAA-CREF) plans to look for an advice manager with a the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. The largest private pension provider in the U.S., went looking for a participant advice manager to help advise plan participants with their investments. "The CFP designation signals that the person is serious about the business," said Madeleine d'Ambrosio vice president of education and financial support services at TIAA-CREF.
