Reports that after meeting with Swiss Ambassador to the United States Alfred Defago, the California Treasurer Matt Fong is reassessing his position on a moratorium he has imposed on state investments with Swiss banks. Reason why Fong halted California's dealings with Swiss banks and two Swiss-owned brokerage firms; How Fong described his meeting with Defago in San Francisco; Significant progress made by Swiss financial institutions on the money seized from Holocaust victims.
