Studies the manipulation of acoustic cues to place of articulation and assesses the impact of those manipulations on the perceived quality of the edited tokens in an auditory-only situation and when the edited tokens were combined with congruent or conflict visual phonetic information as in the McGurk effect. Perceptual salience of released bursts.
