Antispammers take matters into their own hands

Discloses that Internet service provider UUNET Technologies has stepped up its antispamming practices by weeding out unauthenticated Usenet postings, using filtering and other software tools. Move by some system administrators to issue programs that automatically delete Usenet postings following the spamming incidents; UUNET customer GTE Internet Solutions' efforts to ensure its customers are not spammed.
