ABSTRACT
Recommends phlebotomy for an elderly patient with gouty neuropathy, polycythemia, high uric acid levels and a high diastolic pressure. Use of phlebotomy in treating high blood pressure, reducing blood urea nitrogen, creatinine and uric acid.
