Evaluates different approaches to placing students in adult literacy classes using 168 Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Equivalency Degree (GED) students who were given various tests. Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE); Tests of Adult Literacy Skills (TALS); Reading test; Decoding test; TABE Locator Test; Placement testing; Literacy programs.
