ABSTRACT
Describes the ototoxic side effects of aminoglycoside ear drops from the cases reported in Canada. Passage of the ear drops into the middle ear through a perforation in the tympanic membrane; Cases reported in the Canadian Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Program; Precautionary measures in the treatment of ear infections.
