ABSTRACT
This article focuses on trends affecting the evolving paradigm of leadership development. The growing emphasis in leadership development is clearly on customized programs created to help achieve specific corporate initiatives. Leadership development of corporations varies through the kinds of initiatives and objectives. Moreover, in the traditional executive programs, the assessments tended to value style more than the content. Finally, the new paradigm will be focused on learning as an action-oriented, lifelong process where global partners work together to produce a positive, profitable future for all.
