ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to marketing. Over a hundred million dollar contracts will be awarded to one or more advertising firms by the U.S. Commerce Department. The web will be surfed by more than half of the U.S. population by year 2000. Senior-level sales representatives hiked their earnings up by 16.5 percent based from the Dartnel's 29th Sales Force Compensation Survey 1996-1997. A total of 14.7 billion dollars in the first 6 months of 1996 is the sales of U.S. television commercial. An average wage of 30 percent makes Guangdong and Fujian the pioneers of China's economic reform.
