Looks at TriTech Microelectronics' Pyramid3D software-intensive processor capable of a claimed 1,600 x 1,200 pixel resolution on a mainstream desktop PC. Upgrading of Cirrus Logic's Laguna3D graphics family with an Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP)-enabled 64-bit accelerator called CL-GD5465; High-end features of Pyramid3D; Software development program acting as backbone in the development of Pyramid3D.
