An introduction is presented in which the editor discusses various reports within the issue on topics including impression management and the role of presiding officers in maintaining such impression, the modern code governing motions, and parliamentary opinions dealing with postponed motions under the American Institute of Parliamentarians (AIP) Standard Code (AIPSC).
