ABSTRACT
A conference paper about the relationship between social entrepreneurship and capitalism is presented. It states that social entrepreneurship emphasizes social change that creates social value rather than economic value, resulting in the economic development of the society. It is stated that entrepreneurs produce innovations that lead to economic development; and innovation is the main feature of capitalist development.
