2 U.S. factories posted another strong month, with ISM's manufacturing index dipping just 0.1 point in June to 55.3. New orders climbed to a 6-month high. Global factory gauges were mixed, with more divergence between strong countries like Germany and the U.K. and weak ones like France. China returned to expansion territory, at 50.7, as did Japan, at 51.5. JPMorgan's global PMI rose 0.5 point to 52.7.
