ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the author's views about the future of the European Union (EU) following the failure of the EU parties in the European Parliamentary elections on May 22-25, 2014. It is inferred that EU bureaucracy has been held accountable for the violation of human rights by the austerity policies in Greece, Italy and France. The significance of strategic alliances between Eurasian nations in the future of EU is highlighted.
