ABSTRACT
The article discusses the principal role of freight forwarders, by the Federation of Freight Forwarder's Association of India, a nonprofit organization in India. It mentions that freight forwarders customs clearance and forwarding of goods in behalf of its customers including co-ordination of modes of transport and necessary procurement. It also emphasizes on the importance of liability insurance for freight forwarders to ensure security in transported goods.
