XL Capital Assurance Adds Commercial Asset Director

XL Capital Assurance Inc., a New York-based bond insurer, announced on April 22 2003, that Shailesh S. Deshpande has joined the firm as a director in the commercial-asset securitization group. &ldquo.As our commercial asset securitization business continues to grow, we are pleased that Shailesh Deshpande has joined our team,” Richard Pfaltzgraff, a managing director and head of the commercial-asset securitization group, said in a prepared statement. Deshpande has 12 years of experience in structured and corporate finance, including seven years in securitization. He previously worked as director in the asset-backed finance group at Bayerische Hypo-und Vereinsbank AG. He was responsible for negotiating and underwriting asset-backed transactions. Prior to that, he worked as deputy manager and vice president for theasset-backed finance group at Banco Santander Central Hispano SA
