ABSTRACT
The article focuses on an antenna for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) and wireless local area network (WLAN) systems. The antenna operates over the frequency bands of 3 to 3.8 GHz for WiMAX systems and 5 to 5.8 GHz for WLAN systems. Antenna performance simulations were done with the help of the High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software.
