ABSTRACT
The article presents a status report of the U.S. Adapted Physical Activity Council (APAC). Topics discussed include the change of the name of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) into the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE). Also mentioned are the 129th SHAPE National Convention & Expo in April 2-4, 2014 in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Undergraduate Student Recognition Award and Doctoral Student Recognition Award in SHAPE 2014.
