ABSTRACT
The article discusses a report on the diagnosis and treatment of vitreomacular interface (VMI) disorders. Topics discussed include use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) for diagnosis of the disease, use of chemovitrectomy for treatment and role of vitreomacular adhesion in these disorders. It also adds that vitrectomy can improve visual acuity but the surgery have complications such as bleeding, cataract formation and retinal detachment.
