ABSTRACT
The article discusses the challenges facing vehicle to vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to infrastructure (V2I) communication systems as of June 2014. Topics covered include the need for lawmakers to protect the short- to medium-range wireless spectrum needed for V2V and V2I to properly function. Also mentioned are the concerns raised by the use of the spectrum assigned for V2V and V2I communication by unlicensed devices.
