ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's opinion on the changes to the social media website Facebook's features such as Timeline and News Feed and the website's focus on sharing users' smartphone application (app) data. Topics include Facebook's use of automatic sharing through apps such as Goodreads, Spotify and Netflix; speculation on the impact of sharing apps on privacy; and details on the collaboration between Facebook and the media streaming app Netflix.
