ABSTRACT
Presents the results of a study that was taken from the `Canadian Family Physician', dated November 1995, to determine why women preferred to be chaperoned to the doctor, and their preference for male or female doctors. Number of participants in the study; Percentage of females who did not necessarily prefer a female physician over a male; Age group which preferred a female physician; Principal reason for the need of a female physician.
