The article reports that in May 2014, the Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Ltd. has unveiled a new logo and revamped its web site to pave the way a concerted advertising campaign aimed at positioning itself as a major player in Great Britain's direct-to-consumer (D2C) insurance market. Royal London chief executive Phil Loney explains that the insurer's new D2C business aims to make the insurance buying process smoother for customers with no plans to seek regulated financial advice.
