ABSTRACT
In this article, the author presents his views on the drug policy meant for the regulation of drug use in the United States. Topics discussed include epidemic of Ecstasy in the beginning, impact of the epidemic of prescription drug abuse on the physical as well as psychological conditions and role of the criminal justice measures in resolving the issues of illegal drug use. He also discusses the increasing costs and consequences of the war on drugs.
