ABSTRACT
The article discusses the growing trend of buying light-weight gold jewellery in India. According to gold analysts, this trend seems to be positive with decreasing gold prices and around 30-40 per cent growth in sales of light weight gold is expected compared to the same period in 2013. The trend has shifted from heavy gold neck-pieces and earrings to lightweight pendants and rings.
