ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views on multiple meanings on the resignation of Canadian politician Alison Redford. According to some reports, concerns were raised about Redford's performance. It is stated that the only strongly positive characterizations of Redford following her resignation came from journalist Paula Simons, in which Simons described Redford as smart, tough, dignified and the female outsider.
