ABSTRACT
U.S. politicians Bill Clinton and Bob Dole's inaugural appearance as news-magazine commentators earned decent ratings for the television program '60 Minutes' during early March 2003, but the week's notable debut belonged to the television program 'Oliver Beene.' Starring child actor Grant Rosenmeyer as a pre-teenager in 1962 in Queens, Yew York, 'Oliver Beene' had no difficulty winning the 8:30 p.m. slot. Columbia Broadcasting System Inc. did not perform well with its made-for-television film 'Return to the Batcave,' a sequel to the 1960s series 'Batman.' Cable television network Turner Network Television scored high ratings with the ninth annual ScreenActors Guild Awards, which posted a record-high overnight ratingof 5.2 in 55 metered markets.
