ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the mass and selective grazing in cattle, sheep and goats. Topics include feeding on forage plants by cattle due to their higher digestive capacity of forage, feeding on forbs, grass and browse by sheep and goats and high nutrition demand of goats which include high mineral and protein content. It also highlights the impact of feeding habits of cattle, sheep and goats on forage sward, an area consists of mixed forage of grass, forbs and browse, as of April 2014.
