Textron Marine wins $27 million Coast Guard contract

Reports that Textron Marine and Land Systems won a contract to build 20 motor lifeboats for the US Coast Guard. Company's construction of a prototype of the lifeboats in 1990; Plans to start work on the vessels on the third quarter of 1995; Plans to deliver the first lifeboat to the Coast Guard by late 1996.
