Reports on the pivotal role of Ford Motor Co.'s vehicle center in Europe in determining Ford's future relationship with Mazda Motor Corp., according to Ed Hagenlocker, president of Ford Automotive Operations. Center's development of all of Ford's small and medium front-wheel-drive cars which account for half of the company's worldwide car volume; Mazda's hopes to be a part of Ford's global structure.
